Cybersecurity Analyst (Madrid, Hybrid)

As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you’ll play a key role in supporting end-to-end incident response efforts—from initial detection through investigation and resolution. Working closely with experienced team members, you’ll help improve detection techniques, analyze security events, and contribute to the company's security operations. This is a hybrid role, balancing remote work with office-based collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, detect, and respond to security alerts and potential threats
• Assist with end-to-end incident response, including detection, investigation, containment, and recovery
• Contribute to the development and improvement of detection content and response playbooks
• Analyze security events, such as network traffic, malware, and system logs
• Collaborate with senior team members on complex incidents and responses
• Help ensure alignment with security standards and best practices

Requirements

• Experience in cybersecurity, ideally in a SOC or incident response role
• Good understanding of the end-to-end incident response process
• Familiarity with threat landscapes, including OWASP and MITRE ATT&CK® frameworks
• Skills in analyzing security events, including network traffic, malware, and system logs
• Strong communication skills, with a willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Exposure to threat hunting or security analysis
• Knowledge of scripting languages like Python or Kusto
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) or security tools
