Senior Transportation Engineer

A multi-international consultancy company are seeking a highly accomplished Senior Transportation Engineer to lead the planning, design, and implementation of advanced transportation systems for our International Airport Project in East Africa. This prestigious role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a landmark initiative that will shape the future of global transportation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct and oversee the development of sophisticated transportation engineering designs, including roadways, transit systems, and airport access networks.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to seamlessly integrate transportation solutions into the overarching project framework.
• Conduct comprehensive traffic analyses, and environmental impact assessments to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Ensure strict adherence to local, national, and international regulations, standards, and best practices.
• Effectively manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 13 years of progressive experience in transportation engineering, with a proven track record in large-scale Airports projects.
• Demonstrated expertise in traffic modeling software such as Synchro, VISSIM, or similar tools.
• In-depth knowledge of transportation design standards, guidelines, and industry-leading practices.
• Prior experience in airport-related projects is highly desirable and will be considered a significant advantage.
• Good command of English language.
