PHP Developer

Responsibilities:

● Develop, test, and maintain web applications using PHP with CodeIgniter 3 and 4 frameworks.

● Write clean, well-designed, and efficient code.

● Implement responsive web design using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

● Integrate and manage databases using MySQL.

● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

● Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software to ensure strong optimization and functionality.

● Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle.

● Follow industry best practices for web development and software engineering.

● Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.

● Stay up-to-date with the latest web technologies and trends.

Requirements:

● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

● 3- years of experience in web development with PHP and CodeIgniter (CI3, CI4).

● Proficiency in front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

● Strong understanding of MySQL and database management.

● Experience with version control systems such as Git.

● Knowledge of web development tools and debugging practices.

● Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

● Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

● Experience with other PHP frameworks (e.g., Laravel, Symfony).

● Familiarity with RESTful APIs and third-party API integrations.

● Understanding of AJAX, jQuery, and modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js).

● Knowledge of web security practices and performance optimization.

● Experience with cloud services and deployment (e.g., AWS, Docker).
