Job Function Description:

• As a Junior Software Engineer at Cyara, you will learn and apply basic software engineering principles and techniques. You will participate in team meetings,write simple code, fix straightforward bugs, and assist more experienced engineers in their tasks. This role is designed to help you gain practical experience and build a strong foundation in software development
  
  
  
  
  

You will be responsible for:

• Basic Development Tasks: Perform basic software development tasks, including writing simple code and fixing straightforward bugs
• Learning and Development: Learn and apply fundamental software engineering principles and techniques
• Support Senior Engineers: Assist more experienced engineers with their tasks, gaining practical experience and knowledge
• Participate in Team Meetings: Actively participate in team meetings and code reviews, learning from feedback and guidance
• Documentation Support: Help in documenting software components and development processes
• Agile Learning: Engage in Agile team activities, learning the processes and contributing as needed

• Begins to understand the software development lifecycle and coding standards
• Works on problems of limited scope following standard practices and procedures

• Requires a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree.
• Bachelor’s degree in progress or completed

Back-End

• Strong understanding of programming concepts and familiarity with .NET C#
• Good understanding of microservices architecture
• Exposure to version control systems like Git
• Awareness of cloud computing and basic AWS services, but no hands-on experience required
• Basic debugging skills to identify and fix simple code issues
• Initial exposure to memory management concepts
• Basic understanding of network fundamentals
  
  
  
  
  

Front-End

• Good understanding of JavaScript and familiarity with React
• Awareness of TypeScript and basic React lifecycle concepts
• Introductory knowledge of design systems and component libraries
• Initial exposure to GraphQL and its integration with React
• Basic understanding of front-end build tools like Webpack
• Willingness to learn and develop front-end development skills
• Initial exposure to form management tools such as React-final-form
  
  
  
  
  

AWS

• Introductory knowledge of AWS CloudFormation and Terraform
• Basic awareness of AWS services such as Fargate, Kubernetes, S3, RDS, Lambda, and Elastic Beanstalk
• Initial exposure to CI/CD pipelines and tools like Buildkite, CircleCI, Jenkins, etc
