Product Manager

Job Description


  • Assist the Frontline Team in achieving targeted Sales & Revenue numbers across the entire range of Trade Finance products suite
  • Assist in developing and implementing the end-to-end customer experience process for Trade & Working Capital Customers


Responsibilities


  • Liaise closely with Relationship Managers/FER and Sales teams to achieve agreed goals and also support them with tactical campaign requirements
  • Execute marketing campaigns to drive incremental business volume growth to meet targets
  • Initiate & roll-out acquisition campaigns, sales initiatives, mass media/ direct mail as approved by the Product Manager.
  • Execute market research as necessary (e.g., competitor analysis, trends by sub-segment e.g. sectors, industry) to remain competitive in the market
  • Plan and implement cross-sell opportunities within the customer base by developing propensity models with help from Analytics team to increase product penetration index
  • Co-ordinate the implementation/execution of business initiatives.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through effective processes and systems are in line with the overall segment strategy. Ensure that the customer experience meets the organizational service standards.
  • Work closely with front-end and back-end to ensure SOPs are well defined for all transaction execution and impart training to the front-liners
  • Ownership of product/customer issues - Develop & monitor an effective process, ensure timely communication to the network on all product related updates.

Internal:

  • Liaise with Risk & Operations Units (i.e. FI, FTC, CAU/CCU, CIC) on ‘day-to-day’ operational requirements, including customer queries/complaints
  • Interact with the Product Manager to provide updates on portfolio performance, market feedback, and also for any other support as required.
  • Interact with BIU for data mining and accurately targeting existing customers as well as prospective clients
  • Interact with IT for developing/modifications in system & MIS.
  • Interact with DBC, Service and Operations to ensure that the right level of service is being provided
  • Interact with Finance to ensure correct CPRs/PPRs and revenue mapping
  • Interact with IPU for Incentive payouts issues

External:

  • Constant interaction with competition to keep track of market situation/activities
  • Follow-up with marketing agencies & branding to ensure timely execution of campaigns/activities


Qualifications


  • MBA or a graduate with adequate market experience
  • 5-6 years relevant experience in banking products - Trade & Working Product.
  • Interpersonal skills
