Technical Project Manager / Delivery Manager – Salesforce

We are looking for a skilled Technical Project Manager / Delivery Manager with expertise in Salesforce to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing Salesforce projects from inception to delivery, ensuring that all technical aspects are managed effectively. This role requires a blend of strong project management skills and deep technical knowledge of Salesforce environments.

Responsibilities


  • Plan and implement project activities including Agile model processes such as PI Planning, Backlog grooming, Sprint planning, Stand ups, Sprint demos, and retrospectives
  • Ensure timely delivery by removing impediments and providing necessary support to the team
  • Report on project progress and metrics including Agile metrics, burn down charts, and business value
  • Escalate risks and issues in a timely manner
  • Manage Salesforce configurations and oversee Force.com implementations with Lightning Experience
  • Lead projects involving different Salesforce Clouds including Sales, Service, Health, Marketing, and Experience
  • Handle integration aspects and security concerning both consuming third-party APIs and exposing REST-based APIs from Salesforce
  • Strategize Salesforce User Management and License Management


Requirements


  • 11 to 22 years of experience in technical project management with a background in Salesforce
  • Proficiency in project execution and Agile methodologies
  • Expertise in Apex (Classes & Triggers), including best practices, Async Apex, governor limits, design patterns, and security aspects
  • Familiarity with integration and related security measures in Salesforce environments
  • Understanding of technical architecture
  • Knowledge of engineering and coding best practices, CI/CD approaches, sandbox strategy, and design
  • Competency in test automation
  • Strong people management skills
  • Excellent client communication and negotiation capabilities


Nice to have


  • Experience working with AppExchange managed package development, either First Generation or Second-Generation package development
