Orchestrade Developer - (C# / Orchestrade / Front Office) - £90k - £120k + Bonus/ Package - Hybrid

Hawksworth UK are now recruiting for an Orchestrade Developer for an IT FX team based in London. This is a great opportunity, Permanent, Hybrid working (3 days in the office per week), Central London location, European Investment Bank. If you don’t have Orchestrade experience but you have strong C# Development and Front office experience. Salary £90k - £120k depending on experience + Bonus + Package.

The role:

The candidate will spend a majority of time working on Orchestrade development / projects according to the needs of FX Risk IT and our customers.

The candidate will primarily work on development projects based on the needs of the IT department and our clients. This will include:

• Developing code for various financial products,
• Collaborating with different teams to support a range of IT projects,
• Providing advanced support for production systems,
• Integrating connected systems with the main platform, and
• Advising on the best architectural approaches for system integration.

This senior software developer position requires excellent C# skills and strong knowledge of the Orchestrade vendor product, FX cash products, and FX derivative products. In addition to day-to-day coding work, the candidate will provide technical leadership and mentoring for other developers on the Orchestrade product and the FX options and cash business. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background, and excellent collaboration skills. He or she will analyse, design, and develop solutions and also provide level 3 support for production systems as required. There will also be opportunities for ownership of specific deliveries, requiring some project management skills.

• Tenure as a Software Developer - Essential
• Expert in C# Development - Essential
• Front-Office experience with direct contact with Traders - Essential
• Experience in a fast-paced Financial organisation - Essential
• Orchestrade experience – Would be ideal
• FX business knowledge would be ideal
• Experience with the FIX protocol and web services interfaces
