Job Overview

This is an exciting role providing project support to Additional Clinical Services across the Primary Care and Community Services Division. The post holder will work autonomously with minimum levels of daily support alongside the wider team and Directorate Manager for additional clinical services, based within the Primary and Community directorate

The Post Holder Will Support The Directorate Manager, Assistant Directorate Manager And Senior Nurses On The Delivery Of The Following Work Streams

  • Overnight District Nursing Service
  • Primary Care and Community Respiratory Services
  • Health Inclusion Services
  • Diabetes
  • Gender Services
  • Lymphedema
  • Tissue Viability

Main duties of the job

This is an exciting role providing project support to Additional Clinical Services across the Primary Care and Community Services Division. The post holder will work autonomously with minimum levels of daily support alongside the wider team and Directorate Manager for additional clinical services.

The Post Holder Will Support The Directorate Manager, Assistant Directorate Manager And Senior Nurses Across a Range Of Programmes To Support The Delivery Of The Following Work Streams

  • Overnight District Nursing Service
  • Primary Care and Community Respiratory Services
  • Health Inclusion Services
  • Diabetes
  • Gender Services
  • Lymphedema
  • Tissue Viability

Your role will provide a specific focus on

  • Wellbeing and Staffing Development
  • Implementation of Culture and Behaviour change
  • Specific Service Reviews
  • Development of Systems and Processes
  • Quality Patient Safety
  • ESR
  • TRAC

As the project support officer, the successful candidate will be well organised, have proven project management experience and an understanding of community services.

Excellent interpersonal skills are essential to support effective stakeholder engagement, whilst supporting service meetings and delivery of workshops/sessions undertaken to support the delivery of project work to meet agreed aims.

Experience

Essential criteria

  • Demonstrable experience of supporting and managing projects

Desirable criteria

  • Understanding of Community based services

Qualifications / Knowledge

Essential criteria

  • Evidence of CPD relevant to the role
  • Understanding of systems in use within NHS organisations including Oracle/ CWS/ESR/TRAC/EXCEL

Desirable criteria

  • Project Management qualification
