WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING?

We are seeking an experienced Senior Front-End React Engineer to join our team and take responsibility for developing and maintaining the front-end of our web application. The role requires expertise in building scalable, user-friendly interfaces and collaborating closely with the broader engineering team to ensure seamless integration with back-end services.

AN OVERALL PICTURE OF THE WORK

• Develop, maintain, and optimise the front-end of the platform using React.js and related technologies.
• Implement and refine UI/UX designs with a focus on user-centered design principles.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure smooth integration with back-end systems.
• Maintain high standards of performance, responsiveness, and stability across the front-end application.
• Participate in agile development processes, contributing to daily planning and reporting meetings.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve front-end performance and functionality issues.
• Stay up to date with emerging front-end technologies and industry trends.
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of front-end documentation.
• Participate in A/B testing, feature releases, and deployment activities.
• Support team onboarding and mentoring within a collaborative, start-up environment.
• Handle any other duties as needed, in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.

WE NEED YOU TO HAVE:

• Extensive experience with front-end development using React.js and state management tools such as Redux.
• Proven ability to solve complex problems and deliver under tight deadlines.
• Experience building secure and scalable web applications.
• Proficiency with Git, including branching and pull request workflows.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, especially in a remote working environment.
