Frontend Developer / Designer

We are looking for an experience Frontend Developer / Designer to join our team who will be part the development of a range of new and exciting projects.

This position plays an important role in driving the digital presence of the Foxtel Group by ensuring the delivery of high-quality, engaging digital marketing content and experiences for our customer engagement platforms. By leveraging your expertise in digital design and front-end development, you will directly contribute to increasing customer engagement, driving acquisition / retention and supporting the growth of our key business areas.

Your Responsibilities

Digital Design

• Design and develop visually appealing and user-friendly website layouts, email templates/fragments, reusable components digital banners, in-app message templates and website UI elements.
• Collaborate with multiple teams across the business on a range of digital projects.
  
  

Email Design and Development Workflow

• Write code and build components/templates using HTML and CSS, ensuring compatibility with Braze and Adobe Campaign (low priority)
• Test and troubleshoot EDM code using Litmus to ensure maximum compatibility across email clients and devices.
• Update and manage email components/templates in Braze and Adobe Campaign (low priority), keeping stakeholders informed of changes.
  
  

Digital Development

• Write HTML, HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript for digital projects, including components and templates for Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Braze and Adobe Campaign (low priority)Collaborate with cross functional teams on projects
• Participate in daily stand-ups and work in sprints, managing tickets in Jira.
• Help manage and structure digital assets in the DAM (AEM)
  
  

About Your Experience

• Minimum of 3 + years of professional experience in digital design and front-end development .
• Proficiency in HTML and CSS, with specific expertise in coding for email
• Basic understanding of JavaScript, with knowledge of Vanilla JavaScript and React being beneficial.
• Experience with Adobe Campaign and Braze, including building and managing email and in-app templates and components
• Proficiency in HTML5 and experience in digital banner creation
• Familiarity with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and Adobe Target
• Figma for design work.
• Litmus for testing and troubleshooting EDM code.
• Zeplin for referencing Visual Design layouts (helpful but not essential).
• Adobe After Effects for creating GIFs (support available from the motion team).
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working in agile environments with daily stand-ups and sprints.
