IT Solution Architect

Our client, a financial services provider in Switzerland, is seeking a professional with experience in development and a strong understanding of modern software ecosystems. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a developer looking to transition into solution architecture, where you'll play an important role in designing solutions and driving innovation.

You’ll collaborate closely with IT teams and stakeholders, contributing to the evolution of a distributed microservice architecture while leveraging your development expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Shape the future of IT architecture by working with stakeholders and business teams to define and implement a forward-looking IT landscape that supports the company’s digital transformation goals.
• Collaborate with agile teams to develop target architectures and reference models, providing clear strategies for achieving these objectives.
• Design technical concepts for IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, Azure services, and domain-driven design, enabling the delivery of cutting-edge platforms and innovative solutions.
• Contribute to the ongoing evolution of the IT architecture runway, ensuring that current and future business needs are supported through advanced technologies and efficient operational models.
• Work within a dedicated and supportive IT architecture team that will collaborate with you to turn concepts into reality.

Your Profile

• You have a degree from a technical institute or university (or equivalent qualifications) and bring several years of experience in software development or initial exposure to IT architecture.
• You enjoy cross-functional collaboration and excel at identifying the needs of both business and IT stakeholders, guiding discussions toward effective solutions.
• You are a solutions-oriented individual with a big-picture perspective, a positive mindset, and strong motivation. You’re comfortable working independently and tackling complex challenges.
• You have deep expertise and practical experience in IT architectures such as microservices, event-driven design, and containerisation technologies, as well as a strong background in developing these solutions.
• You are fluent in German and English
