Your new role

Reporting to the Manager of Business Solutions and Project Delivery, the Project Manager - Cyber Security will play a pivotal role in the end-to-end management and delivery of cyber security projects within the Technology and Digital Services portfolio. You will lead the planning, resourcing, execution, and closure of projects, ensuring strict adherence to the University Portfolio and Project Management Framework (PPMF). This position is crucial for mitigating and minimising risks and issues, and for managing the seamless transition of project deliverables to operations. Your responsibilities will include overseeing technical change management activities, stakeholder communications, and all necessary go-live activities.


What you'll need to succeed

The ideal candidate will possess robust project management skills, particularly within the cyber security domain, coupled with a deep understanding of system design and business processes. You will bring extensive experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects within a structured governance framework, often in a mostly virtual environment. Good organisational agility and stakeholder engagement skills, a broad understanding of ICT solutions, strong communication and interpersonal skills coupled with the ability to consult are essential. Additionally, a solid grasp of enterprise architecture, cyber security principles, and technical change management is required to excel in this role.

The following benefits apply to this position:

• $200,000 salary package per annum including up to 17% employer superannuation.
