We are seeking to hire talented Software Engineer to join our Generative AI team who have a passion for productization and maintenance of AI-powered software systems both for our banking system as well as external customers of Yapı Kredi Teknoloji.

In Generative AI Department, you will be working closely with other fast-paced and highly-skilled R&D engineers. You are expected to take ML models from R&D phase and move them to production, scale and maintain them as a software product. As a full-stack software engineer, you will take a role in each phase of the project, i.e. technical design, prototyping, integration and end-to-end testing.

Required Skills and Attributes:

• Experience in building, architecting and documenting web services (REST, SOAP) using popular frameworks such as Spring Boot, FastAPI
• Strong background on performance tuning and monitoring of software systems
• Desire to work on Relational/Non-Relational Database configuration, management and deployment
• Strong understanding of micro-service architectures
• Desire to work with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Swarm etc.)
• Strong understanding of object-oriented design and programming, especially in Python and Java
• Experienced knowledge of Python and Java universe (language/platforms/frameworks)
• Good skills in writing unit test
• Take ownership and be responsible for refining, coding, testing, and deploying your work in on-premise and cloud environments
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline, source code versioning systems, Git and issue tracking solutions like Jira and Confluence
• Experience in Linux operating system
• Knowledge about concepts of MLOps infrastructure

Would be Advantageous:

• Interest or experience with AWS/Azure/Google Cloud or other Cloud Platforms
• Prior experience with SCRUM/Agile methodologies
• Hands on experience with enterprise Java technologies (Spring, Maven, Hibernate etc.)
• Experience with hosting LLMs, inference and serving frameworks (vLLM, TensorRT etc.)
• Experience with dashboard technologies (Kibana, Grafana etc.)
• Familiarity with Vector Databases, ANN search algorithms and vector indexes
