We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Scrum Master with a strong background in Java development. This role bridges the gap between Agile leadership and technical expertise, ensuring that the software development processes are efficient, collaborative, and aligned with business objectives. The ideal candidate will leverage their Java development experience to facilitate communication between technical teams and stakeholders, remove impediments, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Coach the team on Scrum principles and ensure adherence to Agile practices.
• Remove obstacles that hinder team progress.
• Act as a liaison between product owners, developers, and stakeholders.
• Provide technical guidance using your Java development background.
• Assist with clarifying technical requirements and estimating tasks.
• Identify and resolve technical bottlenecks with the development team.
• Continuously improve Agile processes for enhanced efficiency.
• Track team metrics and present insights to stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in Agile software development teams.
• 2+ years of professional Java development experience.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum practices.
• Proficiency in Java and related frameworks (e.g., Spring, Hibernate).
• Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or equivalent project management software.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM).
• Relevant Java development certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional).

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience in microservices architecture and cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
• Prior experience mentoring junior developers or leading technical discussions.
