Role: Blockchain Architect
Location Melbourne.
Role Type: Contract 12 months
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Blockchain Architect, the ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing blockchain solutions across public and private domains. This role requires a deep understanding of blockchain technologies, smart contracts, and secure digital asset management, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architecture Design:
- Design and implement robust blockchain architectures for public platforms (e.g., Ethereum, Polygon) and private networks (e.g., Hyperledger, Corda).
- Ensure scalability, security, and performance in blockchain systems.
- Smart Contracts Development:
- Develop, test, and audit secure and efficient smart contracts tailored to meet specific business requirements.
- Ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards to mitigate vulnerabilities.
- Custody Solutions:
- Architect secure custody frameworks for digital assets, complying with regulatory standards and industry best practices.
- Develop processes to manage private keys, ensuring maximum security.
- Wallet Management:
- Design, develop, and maintain secure wallet management systems, including hot, warm, and cold storage solutions.
- Implement advanced security features to safeguard wallet operations.
- Integration:
- Seamlessly integrate blockchain solutions with existing systems and platforms.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure interoperability and functionality.
- Research & Development:
- Stay abreast of blockchain trends, new protocols, and emerging technologies.
- Propose and implement innovative solutions to enhance blockchain capabilities.
- Collaboration:
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including developers, business stakeholders, and cybersecurity experts, to ensure smooth implementation and alignment with organizational goals.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing blockchain architectures for public and private domains.
- Expertise in smart contract development, including Solidity, Vyper, or similar languages.
- Strong knowledge of custody solutions and secure wallet management systems.
- Experience integrating blockchain solutions with existing enterprise systems.
- Familiarity with blockchain protocols, consensus mechanisms, and cryptographic principles.
- Hands-on experience with tools and platforms like Ethereum, Polygon, Hyperledger, and Corda.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Certifications in blockchain technologies or related areas.
- Experience in cybersecurity and regulatory compliance related to digital assets.
- Knowledge of emerging blockchain trends and innovations.
