About The Role

The ICT Project Manager is responsible for providing project management leadership to deliver wired and wireless computer infrastructure refresh.

The successful candidate will ensure the delivery of high quality outcomes through strong project management methodologies across multiple sites in Murrumbidgee Local Health District (MLHD).

Key Responsibilities

  • To provide advanced project management in line with industry best practice.
  • Support implementation of ICT infrastructure projects related to eHealth, capital works, externally and internally funded projects.
  • Requirements gathering, analysis and design of technical solutions in support of internal innovation, business case compilation and project development.
  • Implementation, testing and quality assurance of project test and build environments.
  • Periodic reporting on operational health and project progress including key issues, constraints and dependencies.

Requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or project management, or equivalent experience and knowledge.
  • Demonstrated successful implementation of major projects aimed at achieving the organisations strategic objectives, including the ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Knowledge of establishing and managing documentation and associated processes related to major projects, and the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to develop strong working relationships with the project team, managers and other stakeholders.
  • Highly developed negotiation, consultation and interpersonal skills with a range of stakeholders to influence change and resolve project risks and issues.
  • Current unrestricted drivers' licence and the ability to maintain. Ability and willingness to drive/travel as the role requires. This may involve driving long distances
