We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Git Ops Engineer with extensive experience in Argo CD to join our DevOps team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Git Ops principles, continuous deployment (CD) practices, and the integration of various CI/CD tools. - Understanding of how Argo CD implements Git Ops for continuous deployment.
- Installation and configuration of Argo CD.
- Managing Argo CD applications, projects, and repositories.
- Using the Argo CD CLI for various operations.
- Configuring and using Argo CD’s web UI.
- Deployment (CD) Practices:
- Designing and implementing CD pipelines.
- Automating deployments using Argo CD.
- Monitoring and managing application deployments.
- Proficiency in writing and understanding YAML and JSON files, as they are used extensively in Kubernetes and Argo CD configurations.
- Networking and Security:
- Basic networking concepts, including IP addresses, ports, and DNS.
- Implementing security best practices for Kubernetes and Argo CD (e.g., RBAC, network policies).
- Integrating Argo CD with CI tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
- Understanding how to trigger deployments based on CI pipeline results.
- Setting up monitoring and logging for Argo CD and deployed applications.
- Using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack for observability.
