About the role

We are building one of the most successful AI-Driven Workforce Management solutions that empower the workforce in service industries to make people and businesses grow.

As a Fullstack Engineer, in the Engage team, you’ll join a cross-functional team focused on tools which improve the engagement, retention and performance of the frontline workforce by improving their working lives you will join one of our strong cross-functional distributed agile teams. You will be working with other Frontend, Backend & Full Stack Developers, QA Engineers, DevOps, Product Managers/Owners, and Designers.

Our Engineering Team is always striving to use modern technologies, keeping ourselves updated on the news in the engineering community, and aiming to be early adopters of new stable releases. Everyone on the team deeply cares about the overall experience of our application and has a lot of fun while building solutions together.

What you’ll be doing

• Being part of an Agile product development team, bringing new ideas and designing solutions from beginning to end.
• Working with the latest technologies in web and cloud development such as React, Redux,, NodeJS/Express, MongoDB, DocumentDB, OpenSearch, Kubernetes, and many more.
• Working with a team of dedicated engineers striving to adopt best practices, and design clean solutions to deliver a product that is maintainable, highly available and massively scalable.
• Mentor, pair and help grow junior engineers.
• Developing one of the core Quinyx products, adding new features, with a particular focus on user experience, performance and scalability.
• Being part of an aspirational culture where we promote learning and growth with code reviews, pair programming, conferences, hackfests, code wars, and workshops where we deep-dive into a technical subject.
• To have fun, learn, and share knowledge and experiment together.

What you’ll bring to the team

• Commercial experience working with backend development, preferentially with NodeJS and its most popular frameworks, designing APIs, and implementing scalable solutions.
• Commercial experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, building SPAs. Experience with React is preferred.
• Familiarity with Cloud Computing offerings, preferentially AWS, and Cloud Native technologies (like docker, kubernetes, etc).
• A keen eye for system design, and an aptitude for holistic thinking.
• A customer first approach.
• Open-minded and people-oriented.
• A natural curiosity and eagerness to learn.
• Attention to detail.
• Is familiar with working in Agile teams.
