Alexander Lyons Solutions is recruiting an experienced and dynamic Operations Manager on behalf of a global client. This role is fully remote, with the ideal candidate being based in Poland.

Role Overview:

As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading and optimizing the daily operations of the Global Business Services (GBS), Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), and Project Management Office (PMO) teams. Your focus will be on ensuring team members are engaged, aligned with strategic goals, and working efficiently. You’ll play a key role in facilitating communication, tracking deliverables, and creating a positive, results-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Team Leadership and Oversight:
  • Supervise and evaluate the performance of team members across the GBS, BPO, and PMO teams.
  • Monitor team productivity and track the billability of all staff.
  1. Regular Check-ins:
  • Organize and lead daily, weekly, and monthly team meetings to assess workloads, provide support, and ensure efficient time management.
  • Review project progress, identify potential obstacles, and work with the team to overcome challenges.
  1. Performance and Productivity Analysis:
  • Assess team performance metrics to identify trends, highlight areas for improvement, and address training needs.
  • Develop and implement strategies to boost productivity, streamline processes, and encourage best practices.
  1. Collaboration with Leadership:
  • Work closely with senior management to ensure team activities align with business objectives.
  • Provide detailed reports and updates on team performance, project progress, and any issues affecting operations.
  1. Process Optimization:
  • Identify and execute opportunities to improve workflows and enhance efficiency across GBS, BPO, and PMO operations.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven expertise in operations management, particularly in a Global Business Services or Shared Services setting.
  • Strong understanding of BPO processes and project management methodologies.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with team members and leadership.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in using technology, project management tools, and data analysis for operational success.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
  • Experience leading remote and distributed teams effectively.
