About The Role
As a Key Account Manager, [German speaking], you’ll be the go-to person for a portfolio of international clients. This role is highly client-focused, balancing technical requests, ongoing tasks, and strategic planning. Your day will involve managing client-driven activities such as resolving technical issues, conducting business reviews, and presenting our product portfolio. Working as a Client Success Manager on larger accounts and hybrid KAM on smaller local accounts, you will work closely with technical teams to address system-related needs while also handling contract renewals, upsells, and strategic planning to drive client growth. This position combines operational problem-solving with a commercial focus, making it both dynamic and impactful.

Strong organizational skills are a must, as this role involves managing multiple accounts, balancing technical and strategic tasks.

About The Role

You Will For Instance
- Manage a portfolio of enterprise accounts, ensuring smooth transitions to business-as-usual (BAU) and timely resolution of client queries.
- Act as the main client contact, providing reports, updates, and resolving issues efficiently in collaboration with internal teams.
- Build long-term client relationships, conduct regular reviews , drive upselling and growth opportunities.
- Handle complex client requests, ensure progress tracking, and maintain alignment with client needs and expectations.
- Maximize client satisfaction through feedback, process improvements, and tools like NPS while maintaining retention and contract renewals.
- Oversee client commercials, ensuring accurate invoicing, alignment with terms, and driving individual performance goals and OKRs.

To be successful in this role, we expect you to bring the following:
- 1-2 years of experience working in direct client relationship roles like Account Management, Client Management or Client Success, Service management, or Customer support
- Strong communications skills both written and verbal in English and German
- Strong interest in technology and business services
- Great customer relationship management
- Self-starter and able to work efficiently under pressure
- Background in Technology, Saas – benefits or HR software
- Prior experience with systems [ e.g JIRA, salesforce]
- Experience in dealing with contracts and contract renewals, proven experience in upsell and commercial discussions
