Senior Java Backend Developer + Kotlin

Role Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Java Backend Developer with proficiency in Kotlin to join our team for an exciting and innovative project within the international pharmaceutical domain. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new functionalities for the project, a key initiative aimed at revolutionizing clinical trials through the use of advanced technology and AI. Daily responsibilities will include writing clean, scalable code, working closely with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the performance and reliability of applications. Key tasks will involve enhancing the Access Evidence digital tools, such as KiaKia, HEIDI, and GEAR, to automate HTA dossier creation, thereby improving quality and efficiency.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Java and Kotlin programming.
• Strong knowledge of Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Unit tests/Integration tests, Testcontainers, and Flyway.
• Familiarity with Maven, Git/GitLab, and CI/CD processes.
• Nice to have: understanding of DDD, SOLID principles, Design Patterns, Architecture Patterns, and message brokers like Kafka/RabbitMQ.
