AWS Architect

Location: Bangalore (Whitefield) or Chennai (Siruseri) or Pune (Talawade) or Mumbai (Airoli (West).

Type of Hire: Full-Time

Min: 15+ yrs

Job Description:

• 15+ years exp. In design, architecting and build for Infrastructure (On-prem, hybrid & cloud-AWS/GCP/Azure).
• 5+ years exp. In end-to-end design and architecting AWS cloud infra.
• 5+ years in design and document for Migration activities on various platform (On-prem, hybrid & cloud)
• 5+ years hands-on experience in a complex architectural environment
• Strong expertise with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, VPC, RDS, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, and IAM.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or AWS CDK.
• In-depth knowledge of AWS security best practices and experience with IAM, encryption, network security, and monitoring.
• Experience in CI/CD pipeline development, automation, and DevOps practices.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts, including VPC design, subnets, NAT gateways, load balancers, and VPNs.
• Solid understanding of cloud cost management and cost optimization strategies within AWS.
• Experience designing for high availability, scalability, and disaster recovery in AWS.
• Knowledge of DevOps tools such as AWS CodePipeline, CodeDeploy, GitLab, or Jenkins.
• Knowledge of Storage and networking.
• Software-Defined Network familiarity (NSX, ACI, etc)
• Auditing & Security methodologies
• Experience in analysis and redesign of existing infrastructure systems and services
• Must have proven experience with deep technical aspects of enterprise consolidation/ integration projects
• Must have strong communication skills, written and verbal
• Ability to demonstrate professionalism in all internal and external interactions
• Ability to analyze situations and challenges in a systematic, logical approach
• Experience with ITIL

Preferred:

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional certification.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and Amazon EKS.
• Experience with Serverless architectures, AWS Lambda, and API Gateway.
• Familiarity with AWS organizations for multi-account management.
• Strong experience with automation frameworks and scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
