Responsibilities

· Provides technical leadership of networking methodologies and technologies and drive technical standards.

· Be a resource, consultant and technical leader to internal development, operations and support teams.

· Organize, review, write and publish technical documentation.

· Work as part of an agile development team to define, design, develop, test, and implement leading edge networking and security solutions.

· Analyzing requirements, designing, implementing and maintaining enterprise monitoring tools and the supporting infrastructure.

· Defining, creating, and maintaining processes required to monitor production and development environments to ensure a proactive approach for addressing alerts or problems.

· Contribute to the continuously evolving and improving development processes.

· Meet engineering design and deliverable deadlines with quality and with little or no supervision.

· Willingness to work in flexible shifts to assist team with technology operational duties.

· Provide clear, concise and timely feedback to management.

· Willingness to troubleshoot and support software application.

· Work as an on-call engineer outside of shift timings.

Ideal Candidate should have:

· Have experience in designing, researching, deploying SDWAN, network, wireless, system engineering or network consulting.

· Have worked extensively on Velo SDWAN, Viptela SDWAN, Cisco – Routing, switching

· Have worked extensively on Network products from Cisco/VeloCloud and Meraki.

· Be well versed in the latest industry best practices around network and security technologies.

· Have thorough comprehension of protocols including TCP, UDP, FTP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, STP, ARP, Ethernet, IPSEC VPN, EIGRPOSPF, BGP, etc.

· Have great verbal and written communication skills.

· Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Have strong researching and documentation skills

Qualifications we seek in you!

· College degree in a technical field or equivalent industry-related experience.

· Strong understanding of networking technology such as SDWAN, routing, switching and Meraki

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Strong experience in CISCO Network support – Troubleshooting and projects

· Certifications such as CCNA or CCNP or similar
