Maritime Digital Development Senior Front-End Software Developer/Architect

Class Development is about 150 people strong, and we are responsible for the maritime digital platform in DNV. Several development teams handle more than 300 applications, used by thousands of people internally and externally, 24/7, all over the world.

We are looking for highly motivated senior software developer with special interest and experience with web front-end development. We are offering an exciting opportunity to take the lead on front-end design and architecture in close collaboration with business domain experts, other architects, front-end developers and UX.

Our technology platform is a web-centric set of microservices that leverages the latest Microsoft technology stack and open-source solutions, both on-premise and in the Azure cloud. The platform is based on innovative use of web components and application composition using the latest in web technologies.

Your Day To Day Will Include

• Collaborate with teams on creating solutions, solving real problems, and seeing them through to completion
• Collaborate with UX designers
• Design and develop applications where data is a core part of the product
• Stay up to date with the latest trends in technology

About You

As a senior front-end developer and architect, you will have a combine role. You will contribute as a front-end developer and architect in a project team. In addition, you will have a role to develop and maintain platform building blocks and establish front-end development best practice in close collaboration with main architects and UX lead. Your role will also include proactive coaching of other team’s trough project work, networking and communities.

To Qualify, We Need You To Have

• Master or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or similar experience
• 5+ years of experience with front-end development in enterprise development using Microsoft technology stack
• Solid experience with SPA applications using React, Typescript and WebComponents
• Familiarity with microservice architecture styles/APIs and system design
• Experience in the full lifecycle of the application
• Experience with agile development practices
• Fluent in English to get the message across loud and clear
