Wilhelmsen Ships Service (WSS) is looking for a Project Manager/Analyst in Strategy and M&A.

Do you want to play a key role in unlocking business potential in existing and new businesses related to the maritime industry? We have a unique opportunity to join us as our new Project Manager in Strategy and M&A at Wilhelmsen.

This role will form a key part of our Strategy and M&A department who are responsible for accelerating and supporting our strategic growth agenda.

Who you will work with:

You will report to Director Strategy and M&A and work closely with other business units and the senior management team.

What you will work on: 

• Lead and play a central role in key strategic projects across the global organization, including strategy development and implementation, change management, business development, and post-merger integrations
• Be a key contributor in the development and realization of the company’s growth ambition and strategic improvement agenda solving complex business problems
• Participate in due diligences and other M&A processes
• Perform and lead strategic, financial and commercial analysis
• Develop business cases and be part of global initiatives with global exposure
• Organize, attend and facilitate stakeholder meetings across the business
• Contribute to the continuous development of WSS's internal Project Management capabilities
  
  
  

What we believe you need to succeed in the role: 

• Master’s degree or equivalent
• More than 2 years of relevant work experience within Project Management (Management consulting, the Maritime industry or other relevant industries)
• Experience with global cross-functional teams is an advantage
• Strong analytical mindset and business acumen
• Ability to engage with all parts of the business, and navigating across a diverse and international organization
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, and ability to communicate with, influence and motivate other people
• Fluent in English (oral and written)
