Senior DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled and forward-thinking Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the future of our infrastructure by designing, implementing, and maintaining robust, scalable, and secure Kubernetes (K8s) clusters. Your expertise will drive innovation, optimize performance, and ensure the reliability of our systems as we continue to grow and evolve.

What you will do:

• Migrate existing projects to K8s
• Maintain k8s clusters
• Implement and advance CI/CD pipeline configurations (Gitlab pipelines, Azure DevOps)
• Providing support for existing systems and solutions until they are successfully transitioned to new platforms
• Develop and deploy infrastructure for new projects
• Practice Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Administer Linux servers
• Automate processes
• Propose and implement new solutions
• Ensure production system performance and continuity (service-based architecture, improve deployments, etc.)
• Unix/Linux based web application and database management (Nginx, PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.)

What you will need:

• Experience deploying and maintaining K8S and docker environments
• Linux server management
• Basic understanding of networking
• Basic understanding of DNS
• Security centric mindset
• Git
• Good problem-solving skills
• Good written and spoken English language
• Precision/Attention to details
• Good communication skills
• Ability to plan and work independently

Will be considered an advantage:

• Experience in Azure k8s service
• Experience with working using any of the following: Ansible, Terraform, Microsoft Azure, GitLab, Azure DevOps, Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Docker, Graylog, OpenSearch, CheckPoint Firewall
• Debian server management
• Scripting/programming skills (sh/bash/python/ruby/go/php)
• DB administration skills (PostgreSQL, MySQL)
• Good understanding of network architecture and security (VPC, Routing, Firewalls)
• Latvian language skills
