Senior Full-Stack Engineer

Strategic Staffing Solutions International's client is a Danish EnergyTech company with a development office in Vilnius. Company develops software solutions for automated energy planning, portfolio optimization, and trading of energy and ancillary services.

WHAT WE OFFER:

- Ability to make the European electricity grid more robust with high shares of renewables (wind, solar, energy storage) and less dependency on gas and fossil fuels, by collaborating with leading European electricity utilities and other electricity market players

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Develop connectors and simulators of new energy assets and markets

- Develop agents for automated energy and flexibility trading

- Implement specific requirements of our clients

- Implement platform adaptations and improvements

- Upgrade our development and deployment environments and workflows

- Improve usability and user experience

- Maintain our running platform instances

REQUIREMENTS:

- 5+ years of experience developing full-stack applications

- Strong knowledge of an object-oriented programming language (Scala, Java, or C#) and key principles

- Knowledge of Vue.js, React.js, Typescript, or JavaScript tooling (e.g., NPM/YARN, Webpack, Rollup)

- Strong UI/UX or Data Science (e.g., developing simulation and optimization models, etc.) experience

- Experience in using version control systems (primarily Git)

- Strong written and spoken English skills (at least B2 level)

NICE TO HAVE:

- Knowledge of functional programming principles and a functional programming language (Scala - top priority).

- Experience developing mobile, web, and/or single-page applications (SPA)

- Data science experience developing simulation and optimization models (e.g., in Python);

- Experience with Akka, CQRS, reactive streams, micro service architectures

- Knowledge of Vue.js, Typescript, and Javascript tooling (e.g., NPM/YARN, Webpack, Rollup)

- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines

- Experience integrating systems using 3rd party APIs (e.g., using OpenAPI/Swagger, Google Protocol Buffers (Protobuf), gRPC, etc.)

- Keen eye on end-user experience (UX) and APP usability

- Time management skills

The offered salary is 5000 - 7000 eur/gross.
