Join our team as a Java Backend Developer (Hybrid – Lisbon)!

What You'll Do:

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based microservices using Spring Boot, following microservices architecture principles and best practices.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code that follows best practices and coding standards.
• Optimize application performance through performance tuning, code refactoring, and architectural improvements.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Java development.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices.
• Proficiency in Java programming language and related technologies such as Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, etc.
• Experience in Relational Databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, etc.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes is a plus.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS is desirable.
• Portuguese and English fluency, both written and verbal.
