About Motorica

Our platform—recognized as a research and product leader in the emerging motion modality (one of the six fundamental generative AI modalities alongside image, video, audio, text, and geometry)—enables game studios to create dynamic, lifelike animation faster and more affordably than ever before.

• Our foundational model provides AAA quality animations used by some of the biggest names in gaming.
• We are currently onboarding multiple AAA+ game studios, that are currently building games with world-renowned IP, to use Motorica within their top titles.

What You’ll Do as a ML Research Engineer

• Immerse yourself in an academic-led environment where you’ll pioneer ML / Generative AI research within the motion field.
• Drive innovations to production, ensuring that creative people love to use the AI you help build.
• Collaborate with world-leading experts in generative modeling, breathing life into characters for gaming, entertainment, and beyond.
• Contribute to proprietary, state-of-the-art models, pushing the boundaries of what motion-generation technology can do.

What We’re Looking For

• Solid foundation in deep learning and probabilistic machine learning
• Excellent ability to implement innovations from machine-learning research papers, especially in deep generative modeling
• Strong software development skills (Python, PyTorch)
• Good command of spoken English and decent written English skills

Meritorious Skills/Experience

• Experience implementing diffusion models (or flow matching, rectified flows, or consistency models)
• 3D animation and/or motion capture data expertise
• Published papers at conferences like SIGGRAPH or CVPR, or outstanding contributions to relevant open-source projects
• Other notable experience in deep generative modeling
