Senior Android Engineer - Stockholm - 65-70k SEK per month

Annapurna is collaborating with a leading tech company based in Stockholm. Their mission is to empower users with intelligent services that ensure safety from fraud, spam, and harassment, allowing them to focus on important conversations.

The Role: As a Senior Android Engineer on the Calling Team, you will be essential in developing and improving core calling features for millions of users. You’ll work closely with a skilled team of Android engineers, ensuring high-quality code, excellent performance, and a seamless user experience. Collaboration is key, as you’ll partner with various teams to align with shared goals and enhance the overall product vision. This role offers a chance to make a significant impact while growing in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Your Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to develop and A/B test new features using Agile practices.
• Lead tech initiatives to enhance code quality and maintain high engineering standards.
• Drive the adoption of best practices for Android development, setting the benchmark for quality.
• Share your knowledge and contribute to the continuous improvement of the platform.

Qualifications:

• Strong skills in writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code in Kotlin and Java.
• In-depth understanding of modern Android development across various device models and OS versions.
• Proficiency in RESTful APIs, Kotlin coroutines, automated testing, and dependency injection.
• A passion for learning, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Jetpack Compose.
• Familiarity with MVP or MVVM architecture (both would be ideal).
• Interest in mentoring and coaching fellow developers
