The Role

As a Visual Designer at App Shack, you will bring concepts to life by creating captivating user interfaces that not only look incredible but also function seamlessly. You’ll collaborate closely with our design and development teams to ensure every pixel is perfect and aligned with the broader product goals. From crafting design systems to producing high-quality visuals for apps, your work will leave a lasting impression on users.

You are passionate about aesthetics, understand the importance of usability, and excel in creating polished, intuitive interfaces. You thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy working on complex design challenges.

Responsibilities

• Design beautiful and functional user interfaces for mobile and web applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement innovative design solutions.
• Create and maintain design systems to ensure consistency across products.
• Develop high-quality visuals, including icons, typography, and illustrations.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in design and technology.
• Present designs to clients and stakeholders with confidence and clarity.
• Refine and iterate on designs based on feedback from users and team members.
  
  

What We Look For

• A strong portfolio showcasing visual design expertise for digital products.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and Sketch.
• Advanced understanding of design principles, colour theory, and typography.
• 5+ years of experience as a Visual Designer or similar role.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to balance creativity with practical business requirements.
