About the Role:

We are seeking an engaged and driven Product Cybersecurity Expert to join client. You will play a critical role in supporting product development teams, enhancing in-vehicle cybersecurity systems, and fostering a holistic cybersecurity approach. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the cybersecurity strategy and processes for cutting-edge vehicle technologies.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to product development teams in creating and updating cybersecurity deliverables, such as TARA, cybersecurity requirements, supplier agreements, and validation activities.
  • Design secure systems and components for vehicles, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of an in-vehicle cybersecurity reference architecture, including analyzing and defining requirements.
  • Specify, review, and plan mitigations for security testing results.
  • Approve cybersecurity artifacts developed by other teams and support type approval processes such as R155.
  • Manage incident response processes and support organizational efforts to handle security-related events.
  • Share knowledge, best practices, and guidance to foster a culture of cybersecurity awareness and excellence.


Required Competence:

  • Broad technical expertise, including proficiency in connectivity technologies such as Bluetooth, CAN, and Ethernet.
  • Proven experience in technical security, with knowledge of cryptography, HSM, TLS, PKI, network segmentation, and security monitoring.
  • Hands-on experience with threat modeling and attack tree analysis.
  • A minimum of 5 years in a cybersecurity architecture or specialist role.
  • Strong understanding of risk assessment methodologies and excellent communication skills.
  • Experience writing and communicating cybersecurity requirements.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with cybersecurity standards and best practices.
  • Knowledge of automotive standards and regulations, such as ISO 21434 and UN R155.
  • Experience with product cybersecurity in automotive environments.
