Senior AI/ML Engineer

We are hiring an AI/ML Engineer to join our client in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have expertise in developing, deploying, and optimising machine learning models, particularly large language models (LLMs) and natural language processing (NLP) systems. This role offers the opportunity to work on challenging business problems and drive impactful solutions using state-of-the-art AI technologies.

About the role:

• Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models to address complex business challenges.
• Build and fine-tune large language models (LLMs) for various NLP applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into AI-driven solutions.
• Research and implement the latest advancements in AI/ML, particularly in the areas of NLP and LLMs.
• Optimize model performance for scalability, efficiency, and accuracy.
• Deploy and maintain AI solutions in production environments.
• Analyse and interpret data to generate actionable insights and inform decision-making.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and technologies in AI/ML.

About you:

• Familiarity with solving real-world business problems using AI/ML solutions.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field. Ph.D. is a plus.
• Proven experience in developing and deploying AI/ML models, with a focus on NLP and LLMs.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, along with ML libraries/frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Hugging Face Transformers.
• Strong understanding of NLP techniques, including tokenization, embeddings, language modeling, and text classification.
• Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
