Senior AI/Machine Learning Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Senior AI/Machine Learning Engineer to join our team in Dubai. The primary focus of this role is to automate, refine and optimize our business operations including the vehicle valuation pricing engine and list of other use cases to build and train new ML models and optimize the existing ones. The self-hosted model is trained on proprietary datasets to provide accurate, reliable market price tailored to the UAE market.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand current system architecture and performance metrics.
• Develop the ETL pipeline using AWS glue, Lambda and step functions and optimize it to work at scale.
• Analyze and refine the existing machine learning model to improve accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
• Perform data preprocessing and feature engineering to enhance the quality of input datasets.
• Optimize model performance through hyperparameter tuning and algorithm refinement.
• Deploy and monitor machine learning solutions on AWS SageMaker, ensuring robustness and reliability.
• Continuously evaluate model outputs and address edge cases or anomalies with data-driven solutions.
• Deploy the existing 3rd party LLM on AWS Bedrock.
• Stay updated on advancements in AI/ML technologies and recommend innovative approaches for future developments.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in developing and optimizing machine learning models, with a preference for applications in regression and neural networks.
• Proven experience in AWS machine learning services (e.g., SageMaker, Bedrock, Lambda, Glue, Step functions, S3).
• Strong knowledge of data science principles, including data cleaning, feature engineering, and model evaluation.
• Proficiency in machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and programming languages (e.g., Python, Jupyter notebook).
• Ability to interpret complex datasets and extract actionable insights.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
