SUNMI Global, PTE, LTD is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Global Key Account Manager- APAC region with a comprehensive background ideally from both retail of hospitality industries. The ideal candidate must have at least 5 years of experience working in the retail or hospitality sector, with expertise in manufacturer, Android technology, as well as significant exposure to SaaS Software ecosystem. They must possess a proven track record in successfully onboarding and managing large accounts and have well-established relationships with major companies within the retail and hospitality in the APAC region.
Responsibilities:
- Global Key Account Onboarding and Management: The Global Key Account Manager will be responsible for identifying and onboarding large end user in hospitality and retail. Working closer with Sales Manager team, he will leverage from all ongoing discussion within the APAC region and use existing relationships to secure new large-scale projects. Additionally, they will proactively manage ongoing projects of this magnitude to ensure they stay on track, meet deadlines, and achieve desired results.
Role is covering all APAC : ANZ, South East Asia, Japan, HK, TW, Korea & India ( China excluded )
2. Relationship Building : The candidate must have a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with large end user customers across the region. These relationships should facilitate business growth and accelerate SUNMI penetration in large scale organizations.
3. Expert Knowledge in Hardware: The successful candidate should possess an in-depth understanding of both mobile rugged computer, ECR desktop & Self-checkout solution hardware . This also should includes a comprehensive grasp of the SaaS & MDM providers operating in Asia. They will leverage their expertise to advise and assist clients in selecting the most appropriate hardware.
4. Industry Awareness: The candidate should have an excellent grasp of the organized retail environment in APAC and understand the major fast food players franchise and conglomerate operating in the region . This knowledge will allow him/her to identify potential partnership opportunities.
5. Project Management: The Global Key Account Manager will be responsible for handling multiple large projects Quick Service Restaurant & retail sector. They must demonstrate exceptional project management skills to ensure the successful execution and delivery of these projects. Working closely with APAC Sales team + Headquarter product teams, they will ensure seamless implementation and customer satisfaction.
6. Results-Oriented and Self-Motivated: The ideal candidate must possess an unwavering hunger for success to accelerate SUNMI product penetration on tiers 1 tiers 2 top customer. They should be self-starters, driven by their own motivation to achieve outstanding results. Benefiting on a significant well establish existing business, we will focus on onboarding large customer get educated and onboarded with SUNMI solutions.
8. Goal-Oriented: The Global Key Account Manager will work towards achieving and exceeding sales and revenue targets collaborating with other Global Key Account team based in EU, North America, and Dubai to support global customers and also benchmark opporutnities. Sharing internal customer case and building strong Internal collaboration with teams to align strategies and drive the company's growth around large customers.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the retail or hospitality industry, working with manufacturer, large franchise chain store, large software, vendor, coupled with significant exposure to Asia market.
- Proven track record in onboarding and managing large accounts with major companies in APAC.
- Strong understanding of hardware business.
- Familiarity with large software vendor SaaS providers and their role in the industry.
- Exceptional project management skills and ability to handle multiple large projects simultaneously in both retail & hospitality domains.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a strong drive for success in both the retail & hospitality sectors.
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
- Problem-solving ability and the capability to navigate challenging circumstances effectively.
- Mandarin proficiency is a plus but not required
