Product Designer

Our client is a leading Multinational Social Media Company. This is a 06 month contract role.

Job Responsibilities:

• Leads and delivers design projects of large and (or) ambiguous scope.
• Take broad, conceptual ideas and turn them into something useful and valuable for our 2 billion plus users.
• Design flows and experiences that simplify and distill down complex actions into usable interfaces.
• Design new experiences or layouts that evolve and define visual systems.
• Contribute to strategic decisions around the future direction of company's products.
• Give and solicit feedback from designers and a broader product team in order to continually raise the bar for quality, while also taking on mentorship
• Lead a partnership with product managers, engineers, researchers, and content strategists to oversee the user experience of a product from conception until launch.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with min 7 years’ experience in product design, working with consumer facing products (B2B/B2C) from tech companies.
• Experience working on mobile products, should be comfortable working with mobile devices and designing in that format.
• Able to navigate ambiguity and drive projects independently. Able to co-lead the project and translate something abstract to an actual product.
• Experience leading strategy – working with XFN to drive strategy and vision
• Should be able to independently lead and drive own projects from start to end.
• Should be able collaborate with XFN and other partners – stakeholder management.
• Should be well versed in Figma, knowing how to create videos and animations would be a bonus
• Should have good communication and problem solving skills
