Network Engineer

Our client is a leading French bank with a strong presence in Singapore. With Singapore being the 2nd largest IT Hub after their HQ, they are currently looking to expand their team. They are a prominent player in the global banking and financial services industry, offering a wide range of products and services including corporate banking, investment banking, and asset management. It operates in numerous countries worldwide and is known for its strong expertise in areas such as structured finance, capital markets, and advisory services.

Our client is looking for a Network Expert to join the team in Singapore.

The Network Expert would be responsible for:

• Leading technical tasks and delegation, promoting team collaboration, skill development, and service improvements, while leveraging new technologies for consistent service delivery.
• Ensuring system infrastructure reliability and availability by providing proactive and reactive technical support, driving root cause analysis, and implementing improvements based on best practices.
• Managing L3 activities, including architecture, design, and project management, while engaging with peers and stakeholders on technology roadmaps and projects.
• Supporting complex or high-severity incidents, staying informed on new technologies, and facilitating transformation projects to drive future improvements.

The ideal Network Expert would possess the following skillsets:

• Experience & Education: 10-15 years in network management, including 3-5 years in financial institutions; bachelor's or engineering degree required.
• Technical Expertise: Subject matter expert in Cisco, Arista, Juniper Networks, Checkpoint, Fortinet, McAfee, with working knowledge of VPNs, firewalls, IDS systems, and network tools like HPOmi and HPNNM.
• Skills & Attributes: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and logical skills; customer service-oriented and a strong team player.
• At least 5 years of experience in a financial institute or bank.
