Position Summary:

Our partner, a leading healthcare provider committed to innovation and patient care, is seeking a Senior Front-End Engineer to join their Enterprise Digitalization team. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to enhance the patient’s digital experience by developing and integrating robust software applications, with a primary focus on front-end systems. Your responsibilities will include designing scalable architectures, writing secure, efficient code, and migrating systems to improve the platform. This position requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. You’ll play a key role in driving major improvements, leveraging AWS infrastructures and modern frameworks to deliver exceptional digital experiences.

Experience and Education:

• BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, Arts or equivalent experience/field.
• 6+ years’ experience as Full Stack Engineer, with a strong focus on frontend development.
• Experience with integration and migration within a complex enterprise environment.
• Hands-on experience in building and maintaining responsive web applications using React.js and Next.js.
• Knowledge of compliance and regulations related to the industry, HIPAA, GDPR, SOC 2 and PCI-DSS (a plus)

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Build and migrate responsive web applications, utilizing server-side rendering and static site generation for enhanced performance and capabilities.
• Create and maintain design systems, ensuring consistency and visual appeal using Sass.
• Implement efficient data handling with GraphQL to manage data flow between frontend and backend.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to develop functional, user-friendly, and visually engaging interfaces.
• Optimize performance, enhancing application speed and scalability using Next.js.
• Ensure code quality by writing clean, maintainable code and participating in code reviews.
• Maintain thorough documentation of application changes and updates.
• Ensure security compliance by implementing best practices for data protection.
• Stay current with emerging frontend development trends and apply them to improve the tech stack.
• Mentor junior developers by sharing best practices and offering guidance.
