Summary:
The Network Administrator will support and maintain critical infrastructure, including SCADA/EMS systems, networks, and cybersecurity. This role involves system maintenance, issue resolution, upgrades, compliance monitoring, and ensuring high availability and security of systems. Collaboration with internal teams and vendors is essential to meet operational and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain network equipment (firewalls, routers, switches, wireless systems).
- Perform vulnerability assessments, system patches, upgrades, and compliance evidence collection.
- Maintain network security and backups, ensuring reliable recovery operations.
- Enforce cybersecurity policies and monitor network/system performance for stability and availability.
- Provide on-call support for critical systems and collaborate on process improvements.
- Participate in disaster recovery planning and maintain compliance with industry standards.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of networking experience
- 2+ years experience with SCADA/EMS systems and/or NERC CIP standards
- Expertise in TCP/IP networks (Layer 2, OSPF, BGP) and system administration (Windows, Linux, VMware).
- Experience with Cisco/Palo Alto devices and security tools (e.g., ManageEngine, Nessus, LogRhythm).
