Mobility Developer

Job Purpose

• Taking up full ownership of assigned technical and development activities for change requests, minor enhancements, major enhancements, and project tasks for mobile app development requests.
• Perform mobile app development and configuration.
• Managing IOS certifications, licensing and XCODE
• Development using languages / tools such as SQL, JavaScript, C# and
• Integrations using REST API’s, JSON etc.
• Host and deploy webservices as required.
• Document code consistently throughout the development and/or enhancement process
• Generate and maintain required design and other documentation for the development tasks.
• Design solutions based upon business requirements and user specifications.
• Review technical solutions when needed.
• Participate in peer code/design reviews to ensure the delivery of quality solutions.
• Liaise with functional consultants primarily and with Business IS teams when needed during the design, development, and testing processes.
• Review, fix, enhance and develop code.
• Perform quality assurance for all deliverables.
• Follow the company Service Management guideline, adhering strictly to the processes and use the company ticket management system to follow Change and Release management processes for technical deployments.

Experience and Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
• 8+ years of experience in mobility development technologies
• Certified VoltMX Developer having VoltMX IDE development experience.
• Kony cross-platform development experience on Android, iOS (both Mobile and Tablet) and Desktop web platforms.
• Excellent Core Java/J2EE knowledge.
• Mandatory experience working with UI/UX using Eclipse IDE preferably Temenos/Iris/VoltMX
• Mandatory experience incorporating technologies such as geo tracking, maps etc. in mobile apps.
• Mandatory experience in full life cycle development (including signing and release) of Android/IOS native applications.
• Mandatory experience in managing IOS certifications, licensing and XCODE.
• Mandatory experience using Android studio.
• Strong knowledge in SQL, JavaScript, C#.
• Knowledge of Integrations using REST API’s, JSON etc.
• Experience with Oracle E-Business suite/ Oracle fusion shall be considered as an asset.
• Working knowledge with Oracle and SQL Server
• Understanding of hosting and deploying webservices
