Senior Kotlin Developer

We are seeking experienced Kotlin Engineers to join a flagship greenfield project with a leading Financial institution. This is an opportunity to shape the architecture of new data warehousing tools. You'll join the team at the discovery phase, with the autonomy to make key technical decisions and contribute to building a high-performing development team.

The Role

• Develop and architect data solutions with a focus on simplicity, scalability, and reliability.
• Collaborate on building CI/CD pipelines and APIs, driving technical direction, and ensuring delivery for this mission-critical project.
• Gain in-depth knowledge of market and trade data systems—no prior banking experience required, making this an excellent entry point into the financial industry.
• Help shape the team by mentoring others and contributing to hiring efforts.

About You

• 7+ years of experience in Kotlin (or solid Java experience with a desire to transition to Kotlin).
• Experience with Kubernetes/ Docker.
• Strong expertise in Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Proven experience building CI/CD pipelines and working in a DevOps environment.
• Solid knowledge of building APIs and delivery-focused problem-solving.
• A proactive, curious mindset with a passion for solving complex problems and exploring new technologies.
