Position: Fullstack Developer - Java and React

Location: Brussels, Belgium

Hybrid: 2-3 times a week on the client´s office

Candidates must possess European nationality or a valid work permit for Belgium

Mandatory Languages: One of the national languages (Dutch or French) must be the mother tongue, and the other language must be understood and readable. Sound knowledge of English as well.

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Fullstack Java Developer with React to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will work on innovative and scalable projects, leveraging the latest technologies and methodologies to deliver exceptional user experiences and robust backend systems. You will be responsible for designing and implementing modern, cloud-ready applications using Java for the backend and React for the frontend.

Requirements:

React experience - 3 to 5 years

• This is the main focus of the role, developing web forms in React and interacting with APIs in the backend
• Great experience on UI Testing (using JEST in particular)
• Some experience on UI/UX and UI analysis

Java experience - 2 to 3 years

• Some experience of Spring Boot Java framework
• Very good knowledge of API architecture and development, preferably in Java (SpringBoot)
• Wxperience of Spring 5 is an asset
• Swagger definition and contract-based API development is an asset
