Front End Engineer

I am currently working with an Irish owned tech company who are looking for an experienced front end engineer to join the team. The role is based in Cork and requires working on-site at least 2 times per-week. It is mid-senior level role and requires 3+ years of experience working with React and other front end technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, optimize, and maintain responsive web applications using React and Redux.
• Collaborate with designers and back-end developers to implement dynamic, visually appealing user interfaces.
• Write clean, modular, and well-documented JavaScript/TypeScript code.
• Troubleshoot and debug UI/UX issues to enhance performance and usability.
• Stay updated on the latest front-end technologies and best practices, bringing innovative ideas to the table.
• Contribute to code reviews, ensuring high code quality and adherence to standards.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of professional front-end development experience.
• Strong proficiency in React and state management libraries like Redux.
• Expertise in modern HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and responsive design principles.
• Experience working with UI libraries and tools (e.g., Material-UI, Tailwind CSS, or similar).
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and integrating front-end applications with back-end services.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of accessibility (WCAG) and performance optimization techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
