Senior .Net Engineer

Senior .NET Developers X2 Permanent in Dublin

Hybrid Remote & Dublin City Centre – (typically two days a week onsite)

Our global, end-user customer is the market leader in their field; providing professional services to many of the world’s largest enterprises and NGO’s across industries such as Financial markets, Healthcare, Technology, Education, Aerospace and Manufacturing.

They require two Senior C# .Net Software Engineers for their Dublin operation. Within a well-established Agile environment, you would be the lead software engineer in a scrum team of 6 – 8. As the senior Engineer within the Scrum team, you will be the tech lead/mentor for several developers. You would own the design and build of complex solutions in this fast-paced Agile environment. This role has the future potential to evolve into a Team Lead, Managerial position.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Take responsibility for the engineering ‘heavy lifting’ in the team
• Enable and support the other engineers within the scrum team
• Hands-on design and development of elegant, scalable and secure, complex, enterprise-scale .Net applications
• Working with Product Owners, UI/UX in defining requirements and prototyping solutions
• Work with the data modelling team in defining interfaces and schemas
• Working with QA on defect prevention along with other QA activities.

Skills/Experience

• Essential:
• 5+ years’ experience in developing enterprise-scales web-based applications using C# .Net 4.5 or higher
• Agile Scrum teams
• Application design authority/responsibility
• .Net Core 2.0 or higher
• WCF/Soap/Rest/gRPC
• ASP.Net MVC
• ASP.NET Core
• ORM (e.g. nHibernate)
• Unit test, Mocking frameworks (Rhino Mocks, Moq, etc.), TDD
• Dependency Injection / IOC (StructureMap.)

• Nice to have:
• SQL Server development (stored procs, T-SQL development)
• Angular, AngularJS, KnockoutJS
• JavaScript unit test frameworks (QUnit, Mockjax, etc.)
• HTML5
