DevOps Manager

Job Overview:

Our client is seeking a skilled professional to support and enhance their web-based Supplier Information and Risk Management systems, as well as their broader business offerings.

Location: 3 days per week onsite in Blanchardstown and 2 days WFH

Reporting To: Managing Director

Role Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and development of our client’s Supplier Information and Risk Management systems. These systems are crucial for industry communities, enabling them to access highly accurate and compliant data services during critical supply chain and procurement management processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and maintain AWS environments across multiple regions.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines within the AWS ecosystem.
• Handle deployment processes across QA, production, and other environments.
• Utilize Docker containers for deploying applications and services through AWS ECS.
• Configure and manage Postman to facilitate API testing.
• Implement and sustain robust monitoring stacks.
• Apply expertise in server and operating system requirements to optimize processes.

Knowledge & Skills:

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in enterprise-level environments with technology landscapes similar to the one outlined below.

• At least five years of commercial experience in a DevOps role or similar engineering capacity.
• Strong proficiency in AWS technologies and services.
• Proven ability to establish and manage internal build and deployment environments for software development teams.
• Hands-on experience with container services, with AWS ECS preferred.
• Expertise in using Terraform and GitHub.
• Collaborative team player with excellent communication skills and a focus on cooperation.
• A meticulous approach to coding, ensuring clarity, cleanliness, and maintainability.

Educational Background:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information and Communications Technology (ICT), or equivalent industry experience.
