Agile Coach

Oliver James have partnered with a leading Financial Services client who are seeking an Agile Coach to join their growing team on a Permanent basis.




This role is a major part of an organisation wide transformation the business is currently going through. This is a pivotal role in the success of this project.


The ideal candidate will be an Agile Coach OR a Senior Scrum Master with strong exposure to coaching coming from an Insurance background.


Quick overview:

• Foster and scale an agile culture and practices throughout the organisation
• Collaborate with agile squads daily, offering coaching and feedback to squad members and Kanban teams
• Design and implement coaching plans, governance frameworks, and agreements.

The role:

• Perm role - competitive salary plus bens
• 2 days on site per week required in Waterford

Desired Skills and Experience

- Experienced Agile Coach/Senior Scrum Master
- Insurance experience needed
- Relevant certifications (CSM, SAFe etc)
- Proficient in coaching Agile methodologies including Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe
- Skilled in scaling Agile practices across multiple teams
- Skilled in coaching Lean principles and Design Thinking theory and practice
- Proven ability to build strong relationships with teams and stakeholders
- Strong communicator with experience tailoring messages and creating materials for audiences at all levels of the organisation
