Network Support Engineer L1 (6m FTC)

Network Support Engineer L1 required for a communication company based in Park West, Dublin 12.

The Network support engineer will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to customers, partners, and internal teams regarding issues with IP Telephony products, services, and broadband technologies.

This is a Fixed term contract position for 6 months, hybrid structure 2-3 days a week on site in Dublin West and the salary for this role is €32K p.a.

Responsibilities:

• Provide support to the business customers across a range of services ( VoIP telephony, networking, managed firewalls, broadband design and troubleshooting.
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues, managing new installations, providing technical support to customers
• Document and maintain records of customer interactions, technical issues, and resolutions through the Ticketing System
• Meet or exceed customer expectations and the SLA.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Accounts, Sales, NOC, and Product Development

Requirements

• Experience from a similar position
• Experience with ticketing systems for documenting and tracking customer issues.
• Understanding of IP Telephony concepts and protocols (such as SIP, RTP) and broadband technologies
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, routers, switches, firewalls, CompTIA Network
• Familiar with Linux, Google Workspace, Windows OS and MS Office products.

Salary : €32K p.a.
