Are you a passionate and versatile Full-stack engineer who thrives in a collaborative environment and is ready to take ownership? Do you dream in React and love building beautiful, user-friendly interfaces? Can you also jump onto problems in the backend? Then you might be the perfect fit for our team at VIALET!

As our main engineer to own the frontend side, you’ll be the driving force behind the user experience of our cutting-edge FinTech platform. You’ll play a crucial role in shaping the future of finance, working alongside a team of talented Backend engineers and other professionals to deliver exceptional products to our customers.

What You’ll Do

• Design and develop our frontend using React, creating engaging and intuitive user interfaces that delight our customers.
• Take ownership of the frontend codebase, ensuring its quality, maintainability, and scalability.
• Collaborate closely with the team to design, develop, and deploy features end-to-end. You won’t just be limited to the frontend; you’ll be a key contributor throughout the entire software development lifecycle.
• Be a versatile full-stack engineer - while your primary focus will be on the frontend, you’ll be comfortable diving into our Node.js/TypeScript backend to implement features, fix bugs, or optimize performance. You’ll own features end-to-end.
• Embrace a “shift-left” mentality, proactively addressing product, data, security, and operational considerations.
• Be a problem-solver and a proactive team player, contributing to the team’s success by delivering value to our customers.
• Contribute to the growth of the frontend team and potentially mentor junior developers as the team expands.
  
  

What You’ll Bring

• 3+ years of professional experience in frontend development, with a strong emphasis on React.
• Proven ability to build and maintain complex web applications.
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles and best practices, including code versioning, testing, and CI/CD.
• Experience with full-stack development. You’re comfortable with Node.js and TypeScript and can contribute effectively to backend development when needed.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical ideas and collaborate with colleagues from various disciplines.
• A passion for technology and a desire to learn and grow within a dynamic FinTech environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
  
  

Our tech stack

At VIALET, we leverage a modern tech stack to power our platform. You’ll be working primarily with React on the frontend. Our backend is built with Node.js and TypeScript. We also utilize AWS services such as API Gateway, Lambda, Cognito, and CDK, along with Redis and more.
