Role: Scala Developer

Location: Remote (Europe only - applicants outside of Europe will not be considered)

Signify are partnered with a long-standing client who are searching for a Scala Developer to join their distributed team on a full-time basis, where you will be able to work from anywhere in Europe.

About You

  • 4+ years commercial experience with Scala- Recent proficiency with functional libraries (Cats Effect and/or ZIO)
  • Experienced with container tools Kubernetes & Docker
  • Any major cloud experience (GCP/AWS)
  • Familiarity with Typescript, React is a huge bonus.
  • Must be based in Europe and can work B2B without requiring sponsorship.


About The Role

  • Develop and maintain integrations with external suppliers, enabling real-time price comparisons across billions of data points.
  • Utilise the power of Scala and it's modern libraries to create reliable and high-performing systems.
  • Participate in pair programming, conduct thorough code reviews, and work closely with your team to deliver exceptional results.
