CMB set up a branch that provides commercial banking services in Luxembourg in March 2015 and acts as the gateway and regional headquarter of CMB group in Continental Europe. In May 2021, China Merchants Bank Co., Ltd., has the subsidies-China Merchants Bank (Europe) S.A. in Luxembourg.

Workplace: Luxembourg Onsite

Internship Period: Six months

Responsibilities:

• Fulfilling the daily administrative work of CB department and completing administration duties to assist operation and management of the department when required.

• Conducting and fulfilling KYC and KYT compliance requirements.

• Assisting in achieving sales and revenue targets as set by Management.

• Assisting in developing target prospects in EU and in CHINA to generate qualified new business opportunities and maintain the good relationship with the client.

• Assisting in promoting CB or FI products and services to clients in EU and in CHINA.

• Assisting in crossing sell different corporate banking products including loan, deposit, trade finance, cash management, FX, bond issuance, RMB business, etc.

• Assisting in coordinating inside the Bank (and the Group if necessary) to provide high quality products and services to clients.

• Assisting in preparing credit proposal and following up the whole credit approval process of the Bank (including approval from Head Office if necessary).

Profile:

· Master degree in (Finance/Accounting) Management, finance or economics, the trainee must be enrolled in a university program and can do a 6-month internship with an internship agreement of the trainee's school program (mandatory internship).

· Good knowledge of Word and Excel is required, good at Microsoft office.

· Strong data analyst skills (such as SQL, VBA) or have relevant accounting certification is an advantage.

· Excellent in both oral and written English and Chinese, fluent in French/German is an advantage.

· Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

· Good communication and organization skills.

· Motivated, good at providing innovative ideas and comfortable working under pressure.

· Dedicated to maintaining high quality standards of excellence and integrity.
